Do I need to know how to code?

No. Describe your idea in plain English and Vergence builds it. If you do code, every strategy is real Python you can open and edit.

Which markets can I trade?

Stock perpetuals and crypto perpetuals. Both trade around the clock, including weekends.

Can I test an idea without risking money?

Yes. Backtest on historical data with fees and funding included, then paper-trade with simulated money in live markets. You decide if and when it goes live.

How do I know why a signal fired?

Every signal shows its score and how much sentiment, quant and technical analysis each contributed, with the reasoning written in plain language.

What stops a strategy from running away?

The limits you set: maximum position size, total exposure, a daily loss stop and volatility stops. They are checked before every order, and one click pauses everything.

Can I change a strategy after it is built?

Yes. Ask Vergence in plain language, or edit the Python directly. We recommend re-testing before you switch it back on.

Is Vergence giving me financial advice?

No. Vergence is a research and automation tool. You decide what to trade, and trading perpetual futures carries significant risk.
